About this site
SAT Strategy Deck is a free, no-login study reference: 719 concrete SAT strategies distilled from public YouTube prep channels, plus a small set of tools for scoring, pacing, planning, and review.
Where the strategies come from
The deck is built from publicly available videos by five well-known SAT prep channels: Penguin SAT Prep, The SAT Gamified, James Lu SAT, SuperTutorTV, and LearnSATMath. The pipeline is:
- Enumerate each channel's videos and keep the ones about strategy, tips, and technique.
- Pull the English transcript for each kept video.
- Extract discrete rules from the transcript โ a one-line strategy, why it works, tags, and the section it applies to.
- Remove near-duplicate rules and keep a link back to the exact moment in the source video.
Every card in the deck links to the video and timestamp it came from, so you can always check a strategy against its original explanation.
The tools
- Active-recall quiz โ turns the deck into a spaced-repetition review session.
- Score calculator โ estimates section and composite scores from a practice test's raw results.
- Pacing timer โ a per-module timer that tracks whether you are ahead of or behind the pace needed to finish.
- Study-plan generator โ a week-by-week plan from your test date, target, and weekly hours.
